This Dublin City Centre Hostel building is very famous. It is 200 years old and was once the home of famous poets and playwrights Mr. Dion Boucicault and Lafcadio Hearne (Koizumi Yakumo).
The family owners have gone to great lengths to restore the building to its former glory while always being mindful of the needs of modern international Globetrotters. Globetrotters Hostel Dublin City Centre does exactly what it says on the tin; it provides all of the comforts of modern hostel accommodation, while at the same time maintaining a very important and historic site that has a pivotal place in the historically and culturally rich Gardiner Street Dublin.

747 Airlink
The 747 Airlink operates daily from Dublin Airport to Busaras the Central Bus Station from 07.00 until 22.00 approx. The Airlink 747 Busses are frequent, every 10 to 20 minutes. The 747 Airlink departs from outside the arrivals hall at Dublin Airport. This bus is ideal for travellers with luggage as it has a special area on the bus for luggage. Adult fare is approx. €6.00. Child fare is €3.00, prices may change.
From Heuston Train Station
If you are arriving into Heuston Station you can take the Luas from just outside. The Luas redline will take you to Connolly station in approx. 15 minutes. The Anchor Guesthouse is a 5 minute walk from the station.

Groups at Globetrotters
One of our key specialities here in Globetrotters Hostel is catering for school / college / sporting and party trips both large and small; we provide a clean and safe environment for both children (under 16 supervised) and adults. As part of our service we can arrange for your group to be picked up directly from Dublin airport, from Dublin Port and so forth.For many years we have entrusted our tour groups to specific tour vendors here in Dublin and field tours around Ireland, we only work with tried and tested vendors. Our repeat groups are testimony to our safe and secure service. We arrange pick up from our front door as your group heads off on their special tour event. If your tour group would like to visit the historical and cultural points of interest in Dublin or you would like to venture into Ireland’s beautifully carved sea and landscapes then we have the perfect tour vendor for your special outing.

Just a short note to thank you all for a great weekend we all had at Globetrotters this past weekend. Our weekend was made even more special for us with the way you organised our whole trip in Dublin, pre-booking the coach bus to taking us to and from our sporting venue and again on Sunday having us all picked up from outside the door to show us the cultural sights of Dublin.
